In recent weeks, researchers at OpenAI, Anthropic and Google DeepMind have quit to warn the public that AI could escape human control, with one putting the odds of it killing us all within a decade at over 10%. In the latest episode of "Season of AI & Basic Sciences," CGTN's Tian Wei sits down with Paddy Cosgrave – founder and CEO of Web Summit, one of the world's biggest tech conferences – to ask who's actually leading, why innovation looks so different in China and the West, and whether anyone can govern this thing.
