Black Snake Attacked the Nest and the Owl Parents Fought Back #owl #snake #wildlife #wild

A pair of tawny owls makes its home in the hollow of a great oak. Three eggs crack open one by one and three chicks grow under their mother care. While the chicks are growing a black rat snake climbs the tree toward the nest and the owl parents rush in and carry the snake far away. The young owls grow their full feathers and fly off one by one into the forest. Elsewhere in the woods the same black snake swallows the eggs of a cuckoo nest whole while the mother owl watches from a branch nearby.
