Who in their right mind could’ve possibly thought this would be a good idea?
League of Legends now has voice chat - and literally anyone who’s ever played can tell you exactly why this is NOT gonna end well
League’s known for two things - not being fun, and having one of the most toxic fanbases on the planet - so much so that Riot’s had to implement a behavior-based ranking system to keep people from messaging slurs and other obscenities to other players during every match
The good news is, for now, voice chat’s gonna be exclusive to players in North America and Oceania - and you’ll need to uphold an Honor level 3 at the very least to participate
Along with voice chat proper, they’re also adding voice MODIFIERS they’re calling “voice skins” that’ll let players customize what their voices sound like during matches - kinda like what Marvel Rivals does with their built-in voice changer
But what IS a good idea is checking out our long-form youtube videos and Twitch streams - the latter of which you can watch to win a whole free gaming PC - and it really helps us out a lot
