A: Is that a school over there?

B: Oh, yeah. That’s actually my school.

A: You went to that school?

B: Yeah. Let’s see.. What year was it? I graduated in 2008 if I remember correctly.

A: That’s almost 20 years ago.

B: Wow. Has it been that long?

A: You must know this area pretty well then.
(You must be pretty familiar with this area then.)

B: Well, I didn’t really hang out all that much. Plus, I lived about an hour away from here and I hardly ever came back to this part of the city after graduating, so I’d be surprised if any of the places I used to go to were still there.
// - so I’d be surprised if I recognized the area now.

A: It must bring back some memories though.

B: I guess so. But then, I never really enjoyed being in school in the first place. I don’t think I would go back even if I could.

A: Really? Wouldn’t you like to be in your twenties again?

B: Well, that’s a different question – Of course I’d love to go back to my 20s, but for other things, not to be a student again. Is that weird?

A: No, I guess not. I suppose school isn’t for everybody. But …. what I wouldn’t do to go back to being a student.
