On June 12, 2026, Arts Council Korea hosted the [2026 4th ARKO Art-Technology Convergence International Conference: The Great Transduction - How to Sense the Unseen] at the ARKO Arts Theater, bringing together leading voices from the field to share the latest developments and reflections on art-technology convergence.

The conference featured an outstanding lineup of speakers: ▲ Artist Geumhyung Jeong, whose performance and installation work exploring the relationship between body and object has earned her recognition on the international stage; ▲ Ho Tzu Nyen, the visionary newly appointed as Artistic Director of the 16th Gwangju Biennale 2026; ▲ France Jobin and Markus Heckmann, who bring together quantum mechanical thinking and spatial audio in installation works that have graced global festivals including MUTEK Montréal; and ▲ Joana Bisbe, Creative Director of Barcelona-based creative studio Domestic Data Streamers, whose generative AI-powered memory restoration project Synthetic Memories was awarded the Prix Ars Electronica 2025 in the Digital Humanity category.
