Protesters accuse India's government of rigging the voter rolls | DW News

Protesters accuse authorities of unfairly removing more than 130 million names during a voter-roll revision, an allegation denied by the Election Commission and Prime Minister Modi's BJP. With demonstrations growing and opposition leaders rallying behind Rahul Gandhi, the controversy is becoming a major test of public trust in India's electoral system. DW's Adil Bhat explains what's driving the movement.
