The Questions We Carry in Silence - and How to Answer Them | Suzi Friesen | TEDxWinnipeg

A compelling look at how slowing down, reflecting, and truly seeing ourselves can unlock clarity, healing, and stronger leadership. Suzi Friesen has spent much of her career at the intersection of education and mental wellness. She is Director of Educational Programs with the True North Youth Foundation, where she has played a central role in developing Project 11, the foundation's mental-wellness program for students and educators. A former classroom teacher and curriculum developer, she has helped expand Project 11 from Manitoba classrooms to schools elsewhere in Canada and internationally.

Friesen also holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor. Her work draws together education, counselling, resilience and the practical skills people use to understand themselves. Reflection has become a recurring theme in that work: creating enough space to notice the questions, assumptions and experiences that can otherwise remain buried beneath the pace of everyday life.
