The steak is the last thing you see. The grill was a wooden box at the start of the build.
Inside a barn he filled the box with sand, leveled it flat, and poured wet cement over that core. Two black metal frames went into the mix before it set. When the wood came off, the sand came out, and what was left was a hollow concrete box on legs.
He carried it into the field, filled it with charcoal, lit it, dropped a grate on top, and cooked steak, chicken, sausages and potatoes over the fire he had just built.
Would you eat off a grill poured in the same build? Comment STEAK or SKIP.
