The Song of Spoons 수저 타령

고전소설 흥부전으로 잘 알려진 판소리의 다섯 마당 중 하나인 흥보가를 모티브로 만들어진 곡으로 물질만능주의에 꿈을 잃어가는 젊은이들의 한탄과 이미 겪어 온 기성세대의 젊은이들을 보며 느끼는 답답함을 가사에 녹여 남녀노소 공감할 수 있는 내용을 흥부와 놀부의 입장으로 재미있게 풀어냈다.

This song was made with the motif of ‘Heungboga,’ one of the five big madangs(episodes) of Pansori and well known by the classical novel ‘Heungbujeon.’ The lyrics express the lamentation of the young generation, who are losing their dream to materialism, along with the worries of the older generation who have already experienced the same situation, using the voices of Heung-bu and Nol-bu, whom everyone can empathize with, in an interesting way.
