Rising Sun and Young Moon(=The Song of the Four Seasons) 일승월항(=사철가)

정악 곡인 ‘일승월항지곡’ (길타령) 과 판소리 단가인 ‘사철가’를 차용해서 떠오르는 해와 달을 더욱 빛날 청춘으로 비유했으며, 젊음을 헛되이 보내지 말고 친구들 그리고 사랑하는 이들과 후회 없이 즐기며 살아보자는 사철가의 내용을 인용한 곡이다.

Borrowing the classical Korean Music named ‘Ilseungwolhangjigok’(Rising Sun and Young Moon) and Pansori named ‘Sachulga’(The Song of the Four Seasons), this song compares the shining youth to the rising sun and the young moon. In addition, it quotes the message of Sachulga, which suggests not to waste, but enjoy our youth with our friends and people we love without remorse.
