In this incredibly satisfying restoration video, the mechanic uses a metal pick to carefully remove the rubber dust seal. To eliminate the heavy oxidation, they spray the internal race with chemical cleaner and scrub the metal with a stiff wire brush! Once the raw steel is perfectly clean, they use a specialized syringe to inject fresh yellow grease directly into the ball bearings. Finally, the rubber seal is pressed firmly back into place, transforming a seized, rusty part into a bearing that spins flawlessly like brand new!
