Artist Lee Bae transformed Cheongjo Gallery C2 into 'Black,' immersing the entire space in the deep black of charcoal. Here, visitors can experience the materiality of charcoal—the medium Lee has explored for over thirty years—in its richest expression. From towering piles of charcoal and the sweeping floor installation Brushstroke, to the monumental Issu du feu series covering the walls and the Brushstroke sculpture reborn in bronze, discover the infinite textures contained within a single shade of black.
