Not our night. We went down 93–87 to the Cairns Taipans.

Taran Armstrong led the way with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. David Johnson added 18 points, going 4 of 6 from deep and grabbing 7 boards. Will Magnay had 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks inside, while Dakota Mathias hit 3triples on his way to 15. Nick Marshall finished with 13 points and 9 rebounds. We won the glass 45–37 and shot 47.7% from the field.

The Taipans made us pay from beyond the arc, hitting 14 threes. Jaylon Brown scored 20 and Kyrin Galloway added 19 off the bench, including 5 of 7 from three. Thirteen turnovers hurt us. We'll own it, learn from it and go again. 🐜
