The $135BN Mega Project That Could Save Australia

Australia is facing a growing water crisis, and a $135 billion mega project could change the country's future forever. The ambitious plan aims to move huge amounts of water across vast distances, potentially bringing relief to regions struggling with drought, shrinking water supplies, and extreme heat. But building a project on this scale would mean overcoming enormous engineering challenges, massive costs, and serious environmental questions. Supporters see a possible lifeline for communities, agriculture, and Australia's long-term water security, while critics question whether the benefits could justify the price. Could this mega project become the solution that saves Australia from running dry?
