Syrian by birth, Chinese at heart: "The Syrian Pal" goes viral telling China's real story

"Two homes dwell in my heart — half my heart belongs to Syria and the other half, here, in China," says Zein Ali, "The Syrian Pal", a doctorate vlogger who is fascinated with sharing China stories with far-away audiences. Whether it’s the stories of delicious food, the bustling streets or the latest jaw-dropping tech, he loves to share them all. With a family connection to China spanning over five decades, Zein's mother, one of the few Syrian reporters who first covered China in the early 1980s, earnestly thanks China for its dreamland-like existence that has helped the whole family find the true meaning of life.
