In Chinese culture, it can carry the meaning of "I love you," "I miss you," and "Take care of yourself."
For the protagonist of Once Upon a Time in the Middle East《欢迎来龙餐馆》, an ordinary Chinese chef caught in the middle of war, it takes on an entirely different meaning.
On August 28, Director Wen Muye 文牧野 and lead actor Jiang Qiming 蒋奇明 visited PKU, joining PKUers and faculty for a special screening and post screening conversation.
From an everyday Chinese greeting to a powerful reminder of survival and love, the film asks what it really means to Eat Properly.
