Why are cities across South Korea spending millions of dollars building barefoot walking trails?

After noticing more and more people walking barefoot through parks and mountains, I decided to try it myself. What started as curiosity turned into a daily habit, so I went down the rabbit hole to find out if there was actually any science behind it.

In this video, I explore Korea's growing barefoot walking trend, talk to people who do it every day, visit Korea's famous red clay trails, and look at some of the research surrounding grounding (also called earthing).

Is it really good for your health? Or is it simply another wellness trend?

Either way, one thing is certain... spending more time outside in nature is something we could all probably use a little more of.
