This kid’s about to be grounded for a thousand years
A suspiciously successful 9 year old minecraft youtuber just got in big trouble for setting up a hilariously expensive ad campaign for the channel with his dad’s credit card
MightyMikePlays67’s father Dave got in trouble with his work for 118 THOUSAND US dollars worth of charges to the company card after inadvertently teaching his son how to allocate a balance towards pre-roll ad plays for videos on his channel
And since his Google account that COULD’VE been logged into this projector phone automatically kept the card information filled on that page, what was originally supposed to be a little 20 dollar boost to his kid’s self esteem turned into three weeks of high-traffic advertisements with charges on the credit card bill labeled things like “Mighty Mike,” “Epic Roblox,” and “Minecraft Gameplay”
Dave wound up releasing a video ON Mike’s channel addressing the situation - claiming that his son will not be continuing on his youtube journey, taking full responsibility for letting something like this happen, and explaining that he doesn’t currently know whether or not he’ll get to keep his job after the mishap
