나그네비둘기의 마지막 한 마리, 마사가 숨을 거뒀습니다.
마사가 죽기 불과 100년 전만 해도
나그네비둘기 떼는 북아메리카 하늘을 며칠씩 뒤덮었는데요.

이 새를 사라지게 만든 건 다름 아닌 인간의 식탁이었습니다.
로마인의 허브 실피움, 발견 27년만에 멸종한 스텔러바다소,
지금 15억 마리 소의 조상이면서도
400년 전 야생에서 자취를 감춘 오록스까지!
