It Was Cool Tbf

Vince Gilligan shared a hilarious piece of writing advice for showrunners while reflecting on a major mistake he made on Breaking Bad. At the start of the final season, Vince thought it sounded cool to have Walter White buy a massive M60 machine gun, despite having zero clue how the story would actually pay it off. After months of hitting a wall in the writers' room, Vince got so frustrated that he suggested they simply abandon the gun and hope viewers forgot about it. His writing staff refused to let him off the hook, forcing the team to stick with it until they cracked the iconic series finale payoff. Seeing Vince Gilligan desperately beg his writers to pretend the M60 machine gun never existed is pure gold. #vincegilligan #breakingbad #walterwhite #writersroom #behindthescenes #funny #viral #funnymoments #shorts #comedy #interview #latenight #celebritystories
