100여년 된 굽이굽이 단선철도-무궁화호1974, 이양-명봉 Korea’s Winding Single-Track Railway: A Century-Old Line | 기차여행 4K

무궁화호 1974 열차를 타고 전라남도 화순군 이양역에서 보성군 명봉역까지의 여정을 기록했다. 이 구간은 1930년에 개통되어 100년에 가까운 역사를 지닌 단선 철로로, 지금도 구불구불한 선형을 그대로 유지하고 있다. 앞으로 계획대로 광주와 보성을 잇는 새로운 철도가 개통되면 이 노선은 사라질 예정이다. 강원도의 태백선과 함께 기차 창밖으로 시골 풍경을 즐기기에 좋은 구간이다. I recorded a journey on the Mugunghwa-ho No. 1974 train from Iyang Station in Hwasun County, Jeollanam-do, to Myeongbong Station in Boseong County. This section, opened in 1930, has nearly a century of history as a single-track railway and still retains its winding alignment. Once the planned new railway connecting Gwangju and Boseong is completed, this line will disappear. Along with the Taebaek Line in Gangwon-do, it is one of the best routes to enjoy rural scenery from the train window.
