《Tunnel of Light》

Installed beneath an elevated subway track, Tunnel of Light is a site-specific media installation
that poses the question: “Where are we, and how do we exist?”
in an age where material movement and digital flow intersect.

The work begins the moment the train departs—
its vibrations and sounds are transformed into light.
As viewers pass through the tunnel,
they contemplate the sensations of stillness and movement,
reflecting on their own position of existence within the flow of light.

The installation serves as a shelter where perception comes alive,
and as a passage through which existence reconnects with the world.

《빛의 터널》

지하철 고가 하부에 설치된 장소특정적 미디어 작업으로,
물질적 이동과 디지털 흐름이 교차하는 시대 속에서
‘우리는 어디에 있으며, 어떻게 존재하고 있는가’라는 질문을 던진다.

지하철이 출발하는 순간 작품이 시작되고, 그때 발생하는 진동과 소리가 빛으로 변환된다.
관객은 터널 속을 지나며 ‘머무름’과 ‘이동’의 감각을 사고하고, 빛의 흐름 속에서 각자의 존재의 위치를 사유한다.

작품은 감각이 살아나는 쉼터이자, 존재가 다시 세계와 이어지는 통로로서 역할한다.
