D. On October 4, 1970, #JohnnyUnitas of the #Baltimore #Colts came off the bench to beat the Boston #Patriots. #Unitas would lead Baltimore to a win over the #DallasCowboys in #SuperBowl V at the end of the #NFL season. #ForTheShoe

E. Another QB coming off the bench -- this time in #collegefootball. On September 29, 2018, #KylerMurray of the #OklahomaSooners, after being benched to start the game, threw for 432 yards, 6 TDs, and rushed for another TD as the #Sooners beat the #BaylorBears 66-33. Murray would win the #Heisman at the end of the #NCAAfootball season, but would fall short of making it to the #NationalChampionship. It was a remarkable season for Murray, who Clayton & Jeff discuss as the prototypical modern college QB. #BoomerSooner #SicEm

F. During the #NFL Strike, on October 3, 1982, #JohnMadden, #PatSummerall, and #PatOBrien brought the #CBS crew to a Division-III game between #BaldwinWallace and #Wittenberg in Springfield, OH.
