Wine Bottles Cast Into a Concrete Lamp

Materials: cardboard cylinder, empty wine bottles (green, brown, clear), one white pipe in the center, wet cement, a drill mixer, a trowel, a knife, one bulb, white paint.

The bottles went in necks-first, in a ring around the pipe. Cement was mixed in the bucket, poured over the glass, and leveled flat. After it set, the cardboard was cut and peeled. The bottle bottoms were already locked in the wall. The pipe came out. That hole took the bulb.

White paint went on the top and around the glass rims. It was carried to the pool deck and set between two chairs. At night the colored glass throws green and amber spots on the stone.

Count the bottles in the first frame and comment the number.
