[해니](Eng)가정의학과 전공의의 하루 일과 / A Day in the Life of a Family Medicine Resident

안녕하세요. 오랜만이에요. 다들 잘 지내셨나요?

저는 학교를 졸업하고, 전공의 수련을 마치고, 지금은 작은 의원에서 근무를 하며 평범한 직장인으로서 하루하루를 보내고 있습니다.

다들 근황을 궁금해 하셨을텐데, 제 일상을 바쁘게 살아가다 보니 유튜브 활동을 챙기지 못하게 되었었어요. 최근에 또 일을 벌려 오랜만에 시험 준비를 하다가, 유튜브 촬영 하던 때가 생각나서 다시 제 일상을 담아보았습니다. 사실 이번에 준비한 시험은 곧 발표가 나는데 떨어질 것 같은 예감이 들어... 불안해요. 떨어져도 과연 시험 준비하던 때의 영상을 올릴 수 있을 까 고민을 했었는데, 제 자신에게 후회 없을 만큼 열심히 준비했었기에 떨어져도 뭐 실력이 부족했겠거니..하고 받아들이려는 마음으로, 결과가 발표 되기 전.. 저의 시험 기간 영상도 업로드 할 것을 여러분께 약속드리고자 ㅎㅎㅎ 합니다 ㅠ.ㅠ

오랜만의 컴백이라 ㅋㅋㅋ 썸네일로 어그로를 조금 끌어봤는데요..ㅋ.ㅋ 사실 전체 합쳐서 1등은 아니고, 같은 연차 내에 1등을 했었는데 그걸 병원에서 뉴스로 실어줬었네요..ㅎㅎ 벌써 4년 전 일이에요.

이 영상은 이전에 만들어 두었다가 못 올렸던 영상이에요. 삼성서울병원에서 가정의학과 수련 2년 차 때 저의 일상을 담아보았습니다. 가정의학과는 타과 파견을 가는 일이 많은데, 저희 가정의학과 의국턴일 때 (가장 여유로울 때)의 하루에요. 잘 감상해주세요.

Hi everyone—long time no see! How have you been?
Since graduating from school and completing my residency, I’ve been working at a small clinic, living day by day as a pretty ordinary worker. I know many of you were curious how I’ve been. Life got busy, and I fell out of the habit of keeping up this channel. Recently I started another project—exam prep again—and it reminded me of when I used to film for YouTube, so I decided to capture my daily life once more. To be honest, the results of this exam are coming out soon and I have a feeling I might not pass… which makes me anxious. I wondered whether I could still upload the study-period videos even if I failed. But I prepared as hard as I could with no regrets, so if I do fail, I’ll accept that as “I just wasn’t there yet.” With that mindset, I’m writing this to promise I’ll upload my exam-prep vlog before the results come out.

Since it’s my first comeback in a while (lol), I used a little clickbait on the thumbnail. To clarify: I wasn’t #1 overall that year—I was ranked first among the first-years (PGY-1) at the time, and the hospital even featured it in their news. That was already four years ago!

This video is one I made earlier but never posted. It shows a day in my life as a second-year Family Medicine resident (PGY-2) at Samsung Medical Center. In Family Medicine we rotate through many other departments, and this day was during my home-department rotation—the most relaxed stretch. I hope you enjoy watching.
