이번 『임계화첩 제46집』은 경기도 양평군 두물머리 여행에서 새롭게 마주한 풍경을 비롯하여, 서울 인왕산과 용인, 인천, 강원도 고성·철원 등 여행지에서 기록한 풍경을 화폭 위에 다시 풀어낸 작품들을 함께 담았습니다.
또한 계절마다 만난 다양한 꽃과 식물을 그린 화훼 그림에 오랜 세월 사랑받아 온 고전 한시 17수를 함께 수록하여, 그림과 시가 서로 조화를 이루는 한 권의 화첩으로 엮었습니다.
현장에서 스케치한 기록과 여행의 기억을 바탕으로 새롭게 완성한 그림들, 그리고 일상 속에서 마주한 자연을 담아낸 작품들은 한시와 어우러져 여행의 여운과 사색의 시간을 전합니다.
그림 한 장, 시 한 수를 천천히 감상하시며 여행지의 풍경과 계절의 정취를 함께 느껴보시기 바랍니다.

Limgye Sketch Journal No. 46 brings together newly created paintings inspired by a recent journey to Dumulmeori, where the Namhan River and Bukhan River meet in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province, along with reinterpreted landscapes based on memories and photographic records from earlier travels to Inwangsan in Seoul, Yongin, Incheon, Goseong, and Cheorwon.
The journal also includes flower paintings inspired by seasonal plants, accompanied by seventeen classical Chinese poems, creating a harmonious dialogue between painting and poetry.
Rather than simply reproducing scenery, these works reinterpret the impressions of each place through the artist's own visual language. Together with paintings of nature encountered in everyday life, they preserve the memories of travel and moments of quiet reflection.
