포레스트 가드는 어른이 되면서 놀이가 비생산적인 행위로 인식되고 점차 배제되는 현실에 주목해, 나이에 관계없이 놀이처럼 작품에 참여할 수 있도록 제안한다. ⟨빨래⟩는 관람객 참여를 통해 완성되는 상호작용적 설치 작품이다. 관람객은 양말 모양의 점토로 만들어진 오브제를 던져 저글링을 하거나, 던지는 놀이를 할 수 있다. 양말이 깨지거나 망가질까 걱정할 필요는 없다. 그것은 단지 어른들의 놀이를 위해 제공된 빨랫감일 뿐이기 때문이다.

Forrest Gard draws attention to the way play, as people grow older, comes to be regarded as unproductive and is gradually excluded from everyday life, inviting viewers of all ages to engage with the artwork as an act of play. 𝘓𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘺 is an interactive installation completed through the participation of viewers. Viewers are welcome to juggle or toss the sock-shaped clay objects. There is no need to worry about them breaking or becoming damaged.
They are, after all, simple pieces of laundry offered for adults at play.
