〈타오르지 못하고 소멸하지 않는 것들에 관하여〉는 흙의 소성 과정에서 드러나는 물질의 비소멸성과 변화를 삶과 죽음의 경계에 놓인 존재의 조건으로 설정한다. 개인의 내밀한 경험을 토대로 제작된 인체를 연상시키는 도자 조각들은 삶과 죽음, 몸과 사물의 관계, 개인과 사회가 맺는 관계에 대한 작가의 해석을 담고 있다. 이 작품은 공적 공간에 놓인 모뉴먼트 형식을 통해 인간과 사물, 개인과 사회의 관계를 다시 사유하게 한다.

𝘖𝘯 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘕𝘦𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘉𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘕𝘰𝘳 𝘝𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩 considers the material’s enduring nature and transformation, which is revealed through the firing of clay as the condition of existence poised at the threshold between life and death. The ceramic sculptures, reminiscent of the human body and rooted in the artist’s own intimate experiences, embody his interpretation of the relationships between life and death, body and object, and the individual and society. Presented in the form of a monument in public space, the piece invites viewers to reflect on the relationships between humans and objects and between the individual and society.
