〈울림통〉은 김아영의 가상 세계관 '니닉(Ninnik)'을 바탕으로 흙과 신체적 행위를 통해 상상의 공간을 현실로 구현하는 참여형 조형 작업이다. 소성하지 않은 점토를 현장에서 직접 쌓아 올리는 방식으로 제작되며, 이 과정 자체가 작가와 참여자가 함께 수행하는 공동의 작업이 된다. 관람자는 울림통을 만지고, 머무르며 공간과 신체적으로 관계 맺는다. 울림통은 명상과 놀이, 의식의 성격이 겹쳐지는 장소로 작동하며, 개인의 감각과 기억을 환기한다. 이 작품은 개별적인 체험이 타인과의 참여 속에서 축적되어 하나의 공동 경험으로 전이되는 과정을 제안한다.

* 『니닉 이야기』는 김아영 작가가 평생에 걸쳐 구축해 온 가상의 세계관으로, 상상·기억·감각이 얽혀 형성된 하나의 독립된 우주입니다. 이 세계는 흙과 신체적 행위, 이야기와 공간을 매개로 현실과 맞닿으며, 개인의 내적 상상을 공동의 경험으로 확장시키는 서사적 토대가 됩니다.

𝘖𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘨 is a participatory sculptural work that realizes an imagined space in physical form through clay and bodily action, grounded in Kim Ahyoung's fictional universe, "Ninnik." The artwork is constructed on-site by stacking unfired clay, and the process itself becomes a collaborative act performed by the artist and participants. Viewers are invited to touch, and linger within 𝘖𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘨, forming a bodily relationship with the space. 𝘖𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘨 functions as a place where the qualities of meditation, play, and ritual converge, awakening the senses and memories of each viewer.
It proposes a process through which individual experiences accumulate through the participation of others and gradually transform into a single, shared experience.

* 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘬 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 form a fictional universe that Kim Ahyoung has developed over the course of her lifetime, an independent cosmos created through the intertwining of imagination, memory, and sensation. This world comes into contact with reality through clay, bodily action, narrative, and space, serving as a narrative foundation through which personal imagination expands into a shared experience.
