Chinese, US artists converge in DC to stage cross-cultural music performance at National Mall

A major cultural gala, “Future Resonance — ShanghaiEye Night”, co-hosted by the Shanghai Media Group, was held in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 3 with an outdoor concert and a fair of Chinese cultural heritages. The concert features joint performances from Chinese and American youth artists, including famous Chinese musicians such as Fang Jinlong and the One Voice Children's Choir. From traditional Chinese musical pieces, Chinese game music, pop songs, to symphonies and operas, the concert was truly a grand combo of some of the most representative art forms from both China and the US.

Earlier, more than 50 exhibition booths at the cultural heritage fair showcased China’s traditional cultural legacies and promoted the city of Shanghai as a destination for travel, business, and a gateway into more places in China.
