Mike Alvarado Vs. Ruslan Provodnikov | Highlights #boxing #sports

Ruslan Provodnikov dethroned WBO light-welterweight champion Mike Alvarado with a brutal 10th-round stoppage in Broomfield, Colorado. The fight was competitive early, but everything changed in Round 8 when Provodnikov rocked Alvarado with a huge left hook, dropping him twice and leaving him badly hurt.

By Round 10, Alvarado was exhausted and absorbing heavy punishment as Provodnikov hammered him against the ropes. Although he survived the round, he was clearly done, and his corner wisely stopped the fight before the 11th could begin.

The win puts Provodnikov back in the conversation for a potential rematch with Tim Bradley, who previously edged him by a close decision. However, Bradley is more focused on pursuing big-money fights with Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather, making a rematch unlikely anytime soon.
