Ismael Flores (ARGENTINA) vs. Isaac Lucero (MEXICO) | 4K - FULL HIGHLIGHTS #boxing #sports

🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION:
In one of the night's biggest upsets at T-Mobile Arena, Argentina's Ismael “El Terrible” Flores pulled off a stunning victory, dethroning previously unbeaten Isaac “La Bestia” Lucero to capture the WBA Continental Americas super welterweight title by unanimous decision.

Kicking off the blockbuster card headlined by David Benavidez vs. Gilberto Ramírez, Flores immediately turned the opening bout into his own personal statement. Entering as the underdog, the Spain-based Argentine came out with a relentless attack, overwhelming Lucero with nonstop pressure, punishing combinations, and physical aggression that completely disrupted the undefeated Mexican's technical approach. Flores refused to give his opponent breathing room, forcing him into an uncomfortable fight from the very first bell.

For ten punishing rounds, Flores relentlessly hunted Lucero down, cutting off the ring and unleashing damaging combinations upstairs and downstairs. Every attempt by Lucero to establish distance and control the fight with his jab was met with suffocating pressure and heavy incoming fire. Unable to dictate the pace or create space, “La Bestia” spent much of the contest retreating and trying to survive Flores' relentless assault. The Argentine's strength, aggression, and superior work rate steadily wore down the previously unbeaten contender.

When the final bell sounded, there was little doubt about the outcome. All three judges scored the contest decisively in Flores' favor, returning scorecards of 99-91, 98-92, and 98-92. With the statement victory, Flores improved to 18-0, captured the WBA Continental Americas title, and announced himself as a serious force in the 154-pound division with a spectacular Las Vegas debut.

For Lucero, the defeat marked a painful end to his undefeated run, dropping his record to 18-1. He entered the ring with an unblemished record and plenty of promise, but Flores' relentless aggression, superior physicality, and suffocating pressure proved too much to handle. The Argentine didn't just win the fight—he handed “La Bestia” the first defeat of his professional career.
