Zab Judah Vs. Floyd Mayweather | 4K - FULL HIGHLIGHTS #boxing #sports

🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION:

In April 2006, the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas became the battleground for an explosive showdown between two longtime friends turned bitter rivals. Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Zab Judah went head-to-head in a high-speed welterweight war that delivered fireworks from the opening bell. Before becoming the global superstar known as "Money," Mayweather was still fighting under the name "Pretty Boy," putting his undefeated record and IBF welterweight championship on the line against one of the fastest and most dangerous opponents of his career. Even today, Judah is widely regarded as one of the few fighters who could genuinely match Mayweather's extraordinary hand speed.

At just 29 years old, Mayweather stormed into the contest with a perfect 35-0 record, riding high after his devastating destruction of Arturo Gatti, a career-defining performance that catapulted him into boxing superstardom. Standing opposite him was the explosive 28-year-old southpaw Zab Judah, boasting a 34-3 record and desperate to reclaim his place among boxing's elite after suffering a stunning upset defeat to Carlos Baldomir.

Judah wasted absolutely no time making his presence felt. He exploded out of his corner with blinding hand speed, lightning-quick combinations, and vicious counters that briefly disrupted Mayweather's rhythm. The challenger came out firing with tremendous confidence, proving he had the speed and skills to give the undefeated champion serious problems. In the second round, Judah unleashed a lightning-fast left hand that sent Mayweather stumbling and forced his glove to touch the canvas. However, referee Richard Steele controversially ruled the sequence a slip rather than a knockdown, robbing Judah of a potentially massive momentum shift in what was rapidly becoming a thrilling battle of speed, skill, and precision.
