Instead of inexpensive cotton comforters, this Korean factory makes wool comforters from the wool of sheep raised on grass. ‘Meriqueen’, a wool comforter manufacturing company located in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, concentrates its production in the colder months of the year. carded, aligned, and spun into a strong, unbroken yarn that is wound, inspected under green LED light, and plied. A knitting machine continuously interloops the yarn into fabric, which goes through wool brushing, pile cutting, and quilting before moving to the sewing line, where each sewing machinist completes only about 15 comforters a day. From fibers to a cozy fleece comforter for a dry and deep sleep.
