Watch how a flat piece of wood becomes an acoustic guitar at a Vietnamese guitar factory in Ho Chi Minh City. Ba Đờn Guitar produces about 10,000 acoustic guitars every month, and the factory has been running since 1960 under its third-generation owner. You will see spruce and mahogany panels joined, cut, braced, and bent by heat into the guitar's waist curve. The video then follows the binding, neck, fingerboard, frets, and strings, ending with the owner playing a freshly finished guitar.
