Shifting Perspectives on Research | Daniel Alland | TEDxNewark Academy

This speaker examines the power of focused social interactions in shifting your perspectives, allowing you to see concepts differently in a way that can greatly improve your ability to do authentic research. Daniel Alland is an entrepreneur currently in his Junior year at Newark Academy. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing, running, and designing ideas either for fun or as ideas for his next business. Daniel is also a leader in the Outdoors Club and a member of the student AI committee at NA. Daniel values understanding a wide range of ideas and understands that innovation involves making connections between people and between concepts. In his TedX talk, Daniel shares one technique he uses to gain understanding when making these connections.
