The roses in my countryside garden have finally started to bloom 🌹

In this vlog, I prepare for the rose season by installing trellises and removing blind shoots. Thierry Marx, Scheherazade, Lady of Shalott, Roald Dahl, Princess Alexandra of Kent, Herzogin Christiana, Angela, and many other roses are putting on a beautiful show, changing day by day.

Meanwhile, the vegetable garden is growing rapidly. I harvest lettuce, perilla leaves, and cilantro, then make fresh Vietnamese spring rolls with homemade sauces for a simple countryside meal.

I also brought home two new blueberry varieties 🫐
Meadowlark and Ventura are already loaded with fruit, and I spend some time thinning the berries to encourage larger, sweeter harvests.

The garden is becoming fuller,
the vegetable patch is thriving,
and the roses are entering their most beautiful season.

I hope you enjoy another peaceful week of countryside living with me and Star :)
