Korean police will deploy more than 7-thousand 8-hundred personnel to 28 locations nationwide to ensure public safety during Halloween.
According to the Korean National Police Agency on Friday, the special operation runs through November first, with the crowd safety alert raised to the "caution" level.
Halloween falls on Saturday this year, and large crowds are expected on Friday and Saturday.
Police will separate pedestrian routes, introduce one-way traffic systems and restrict access to overcrowded areas.
Extra patrols will also monitor busy streets and subway stations, with tighter checks on imitation weapons and unauthorized police uniforms.
