Hello USA! Pair of Chinese giant pandas arrives in US city Atlanta

Two giant pandas, Ping Ping and Fu Shuang, left Chengdu early Sunday on a chartered flight bound for Zoo Atlanta, beginning a 10-year stay in the United States.

The pair landed in Atlanta in the southeastern United States on Sunday morning.

They will be housed in a biosecure area of Zoo Atlanta's new giant panda complex for a routine quarantine period of around a month, according to a release by Zoo Atlanta.

Three zoos in the United States currently house giant pandas, including Zoo Atlanta, the San Diego Zoo, and the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington.
