Momigo wins 2026 James Dyson Award

Nicolette Wong, an NUS Engineering (Industrial Design) alumna from the Class of 2026 watched her older sister navigate the challenges of breastfeeding on the go as a first-time mother, and wondered: could there be a way to make the journey of new parenthood feel a little lighter?🎈That question led to Mömigo — an innovative all-in-one breast milk storage and feeding system designed to make the journey from storage to warming to feeding more seamless.

Over 10 months, Nicolette spoke with parents and lactation consultants, tested concepts, and 3D-printed prototype after prototype – listening and learning, and transforming these lessons into ideas and innovation. Her creativity and persistence eventually earned Mömigo the 2026 James Dyson Award Singapore title🏆

But the work doesn’t stop here. Nicolette is now working towards bringing Mömigo to the market, and hopes her work can contribute to bigger conversations about how we design for motherhood care as a whole. #NUSResearch #NUSImpact #NUSAlumni #NUSInnovation
