Tony Stark Teaching Nebula Paper Football Is So Wholesome 🥹

Tony Stark and Nebula playing paper football in Avengers: Endgame (2019) is a quiet moment that makes their unlikely friendship worth watching. Stranded aboard the Benatar after the events of Infinity War, they find a little distraction in a simple game.

Tony explains the rules and encourages Nebula as she learns. Her serious approach makes the exchange funny, but his response to her winning gives it warmth. For someone raised in constant competition under Thanos, being congratulated without a catch makes the moment especially touching.

The scenes that follow show that care going both ways, including Nebula helping an exhausted Tony into a seat. Their time together gives two very different characters room to connect while facing an uncertain future.

Sometimes a folded piece of paper tells you more about a friendship than a big speech could.
