Me five minutes into learning a new skill, already wondering why I’m not naturally gifted. 😭 I watched one tutorial, bought the supplies, and pictured an entirely new career. Apparently, I still have to practice.

The frustration in this clip perfectly captures that moment when your expectations meet your first attempt. In my head, I’m picking it up instantly. In reality, I’m replaying the same ten seconds of instructions and somehow getting worse.

Whether it’s drawing, cooking, editing videos, playing an instrument, or trying a new hobby, being a beginner can humble you fast. I know progress takes time. I just thought I might be the exception.
