Passengers aboard the Flydubai plane have been labelled heroes for their actions that prevented a catastrophic incident.
An Israeli passenger and plumber, Yaniv Hayun, recounted the chaotic moments when a co-pilot stabbed Captain Smit Machchhar.
During Flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv, Machchhar was stabbed by his co-pilot and bravely fought to open the cabin door.
Hayun claimed he and three other passengers ran to the plane’s cockpit, pulled the attacker out and restrained him.
Netanyahu met Hayun, along with the three other brave passengers who restrained the attacker, Or Pardilov, Asaf Rajuan and Dr Shota Musaev.
