〈마음의 기화〉는 도자와 실, 그리고 태움의 의례를 통해 개인의 감정을 공동의 기억으로 엮어내는 작품이다. 공간 중앙에 놓인 항아리는 관람객이 기억과 감정을 적은 종이와 실을 엮어 담아내는 기억의 저장소로 기능한다. 정해진 시간에 진행되는 태움 의식은 감정을 불로 보내는 정화의 행위이자, 애도의 순환을 완성하는 단계이다. 그을린 흔적을 품은 항아리들은 전시장에 다시 배치되며, 사적인 기억이 사회적 기억으로 축적되는 시간의 경과를 드러낸다.

𝘚𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥 is a piece that weaves individual emotions into collective memory through ceramics, thread, and the ritual of burning. The vessel placed at the center of the space serves as a repository of memories, into which viewers deposit pieces of paper inscribed with their memories and emotions, interwoven with thread. The burning ritual, performed at designated times, is both an act of purification that sends emotions into the flame and a stage that completes the cycle of mourning. The vessels, bearing the marks of scorching, are returned to the exhibition space, making visible the passage of time through which private memories are sublimated into a collective memory.
