장성호 촬영 여운이 가시기도 전에 금강으로 향했습니다.
흐린 날씨 속에서 저녁 비 예보를 안고 시작한 출조였는데, 갑작스러운 금강하구둑 배수로 유속이 급변하는 변수가 생겼습니다.

유속이 빨라진 틈을 타 흐름이 죽는 구간을 찾아내 KM-J100 크랭크베이트로 끄리와 눈불개를 먼저 만나고, 수문이 닫힌 뒤 강한 비가 쏟아지는 악조건 속에서도 낚시를 강행했습니다!

비를 맞으며 집중한 끝에 SY크로우 싱킹 타입으로 힘 좋은 3짜 후반 배스에 이어 4짜 중반 배스까지 연속으로 터져 주었지만, 굵어지는 빗줄기에 결국 아쉽게 철수했습니다.

Following the Jangseong Lake trip, I headed to the Geum River to check out the current river conditions. Under an overcast sky with rain forecasted for the evening, a sudden opening of the Geum River Estuary barrage caused a rapid increase in water flow.

I targeted areas where the current slowed down, using the KM-J100 crankbait to catch a few non-target species like pale chubs and scaled barbels. After 4 to 5 hours, the floodgates closed and the current stabilized, but heavy rain started to fall. Despite the rain, I decided to push through and was rewarded with a strong late-30s bass, followed quickly by a solid mid-40s bass. As the heavy rain continued, making filming difficult, I had no choice but to wrap up and head back.

Two bass were caught on the SY Craw Sinking type, while the KM-J100 accounted for two pale chubs and one scaled barbel.
