[Weather] Autumn morning turns to summer afternoon under bright skies

It may be early autumn on the calendar, but stepping outside in the afternoon feels more like summer, with AC needed when in a car or in public places. Even today, Seoul began the day at 18 degrees Celsius, but temperatures will rise quickly under sunny skies, getting up to 30 degrees Celsius this afternoon.
Sunny skies will take over nationwide. With plenty of sunshine, UV levels will be high to very high. Meanwhile, dry air is raising the risk of fire, so extra caution is needed.
And this afternoon, Seoul and Gwangju will get up to 30 degrees Celsius, and Daejeon and Daegu will top out at 29 degrees.
Mostly sunny weather will continue through tomorrow, but temperatures will gradually ease as we approach the Chuseok holiday. Saturday will bring rain mainly to the southern regions and Jeju-do Island.
