얼마 전 언니네 산지직송 통영편을 보다가 제대로 꽂혀버린 충무김밥 😋
통영까지 갈 수는 없으니 집에서 직접 만들어 먹기로 했어요
충무김밥에 빠질 수 없는 석박지는 하루 전 미리 담가두고, 통영의 대표 간식 꿀빵에 들어갈 팥앙금도 직접 만들었습니다
다음 날 아침부터 비가 내리기 시작하고 ☔️
충무김밥과 함께 먹을 시원한 냉잔치국수, 달달한 꿀빵에 우유막걸리까지 준비하다 보니 어느새 제대로 된 통영 한 상 완성!
마침 동네 축제가 열리는 날이라 폭우 속에서 터지는 불꽃놀이까지 뜻밖에 구경했어요 🎆
밤하늘에 화려하게 터졌다 이내 빗속으로 사라지는 불꽃이 유난히 멋있었던 날
멀리 떠나지 않아도 맛있는 음식과 시원한 비, 불꽃놀이까지 함께하니 이게 바로 여름휴가지 뭐 :)

Not long ago, I watched a TV show featuring Tongyeong and suddenly found myself craving Chungmu gimbap 😋
Since I couldn’t make a trip all the way to Tongyeong, I decided to bring Tongyeong to my little country home instead. The day before, I made seokbakji (radish kimchi) to go with the Chungmu gimbap and homemade red bean filling for Tongyeong’s famous honey bread.
The next morning, the rain started pouring ☔️
I made Chungmu gimbap, refreshing cold noodle soup, sweet honey bread, and even creamy milk makgeolli—a whole Tongyeong-inspired feast at home!
There happened to be a local festival that day, so I even got to watch fireworks in the pouring rain 🎆
They lit up the night sky, only to quickly fade into the rain, making the moment feel even more special.
Delicious food, cool summer rain, and unexpected fireworks—who needs to travel far for a summer vacation? :)
