Watch the complete transformation of an old, worn-out Korean apartment playground — from full demolition to brand new installation. Chungwoo Funstation, a Korean playground manufacturer with 38 years of history and over 800 completed projects, designs, fabricates, and installs every structure entirely in-house. In the factory, steel frames are welded and painted, while slides are shaped through rotational molding — a process where raw material is poured into a mold, heated and spun for 20 minutes, then cooled into its final form. Back on site, a crane lifts the finished structures into place, followed by the installation of stairs, slides, and swings before the entire ground is covered with shock-absorbing rubber chip and colorful EPDM surfacing.
