Humanoid robots take center stage at this year's World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit in E. China's Zhejiang Province, where Alibaba was founded and Unitree is headquartered.
As China shifts its focus toward putting robots to work in real-world scenarios, exhibitor companies across the supply chain are stepping up investment in building the digital infrastructure needed to support embodied intelligence.
Beyond the physical world, AI is also making inroads into everyday office tasks.
Riding the trend of AI agents like OpenClaw, Chinese tech giant Tencent has developed its own tool, WorkBuddy.
As AI applications rapidly gain popularity, demand for computing power is also surging, particularly among individual users and one-person-company (OPC) developers.
The 2026 WIC Wuzhen Summit runs from November 2 to 5 in the picturesque water town of Wuzhen.
