분식집 떡볶이 황금레시피 🌶️

Hello! Today I’m making Tteokbokki (Korean spicy rice cakes).

I had all the ingredients at home, so I made it as a quick and easy meal.
The weather is so hot these days—it feels like living next to lava!
“Fight heat with heat?” I don’t think so. Staying at home is the best. 😄

Recipe

1. I used homemade broth made with kelp and radish. If you don’t have any, simply use 500 ml of water.
2. Rinse the soaked wheat rice cakes, add them to the boiling broth, and stir in 2 tbsp sugar.
3. Once the rice cakes become soft, add 2 tbsp Korean chili flakes, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 2 tbsp gochujang. (Black pepper and MSG are optional.)
4. Add the fish cakes and cabbage, then simmer until the sauce thickens.
5. Finish with 2 stalks of green onions and enjoy!
